Coach’s requirements
Coaches are required to hold at least one 1 hour practice per week.
All coaches must pass a CORI check each year.
All coaches will be required to complete a concussion certification course each year.

Coach and play by the NFL Flag rules.
Never argue with a sports official. If you have a disagreement you should contact the league
Coordinator or the league President to discuss and resolve any issues.
Verbal, physical or emotional abuse with never be tolerated from anyone participating or
spectating. Per the Senate Bill 534, known as the Protecting Young Victims from Sexual Abuse
and Safe Sport Authorization Act of 2017, as a coach you a mandated reporter and any form of
abuse must be immediately reported to the police as well as the league. It is now a federal crime
to “mind your own business” in matters of any child abuse or neglect.
Respect the rights of all participants regardless of their age, gender, ability, cultural background
or religion.
Be a positive good role model for your players. Show good sportsmanship regardless of the
outcome of the game.
Always ensure that the time kids spend with you as a coach is a positive experience. All kids are
deserving of equal attention and opportunities.
